Class 6 - Toxic and Infectious Substances. Includes pesticides, biomedical waste, and other substances harmful to humans or animals.

Class 7 - Radioactive Materials. Includes radioactive isotopes, x-ray machines, and nuclear-related materials.

Class 8 - Corrosives. Includes drain cleaners, sulfuric acid, and other materials that can chemically damage living tissue or metal.

Class 9 - Miscellaneous Hazardous Materials. A catch-all category for materials that present a hazard during transport but do not fit neatly into Classes 1-8.

How to Properly Ship Hazardous Materials with US Express Carriers
